HyperSwarm: the shred stream a whole network races to feed
HyperSwarm is a Solana shred service from NoLimitNodes, coming soon, that is fed by a network of members instead of one source. Validators and people who already pay for a shred feed send shreds to our ingest points, and the first three members to deliver each shred are paid from a pool that subscribers fund. You subscribe to get the earliest copy of every shred the network sees. 70% of HyperSwarm revenue goes to the pool, and each shred pays 7 points to the first member, 2 to the second and 1 to the third.
- Fed by validators and shred feeds, and the first to deliver each shred is paid
- 70% of revenue goes to the members, split by points on every shred
- Every win is on a ledger the member can check

Six made-up members and made-up arrivals, drawn to show the order and nothing else: there are no times on this figure. Yours will differ. A bought feed is a feed a member already pays for and forwards.
01Why a swarm
One feed is one point of view
A shred feed shows you the shreds that reached one machine. Whichever machine you pick, some shreds reach another machine first. Choose a feed below, then see how many of twelve shreds some other member had before it.
The one feed you have
- A was earliest on4 of 12
- Somebody else had it sooner on8
- Shreds with a different earliest3 members
With only feed A, you had the earliest copy of 4 of 12 shreds. On the other 8, another member had it first. Add the swarm and you get the earliest copy every time.
The twelve shreds, written out
| Shred | Members, earliest first | Earliest |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A D F B C E | A |
| 2 | C A D B F E | C |
| 3 | A F C E B D | A |
| 4 | D F B A C E | D |
| 5 | A D B C F E | A |
| 6 | A D C F B E | A |
| 7 | D A F C B E | D |
| 8 | F B A E D C | F |
| 9 | F A C D B E | F |
| 10 | F D A C B E | F |
| 11 | D F C A B E | D |
| 12 | F E C A B D | F |
Twelve made-up shreds and six made-up members. Each square is when that member’s copy reached us, earlier on the left. Only the order and the gaps mean anything; the figure has no units.
02How a shred is judged
Every shred is judged the same way
Members send shreds to our ingest points, and each one goes through the same four gates. The result does not depend on who sent it. Choose a shred and send it through.
Send this shred
A valid shred, first to arrive
- 1ReceivedStamped when it reaches an ingest point.
Reached the ingest point before anyone else’s copy.
- 2CheckedThe leader’s signature must match, for a live slot.
The signature matches the leader for that slot.
- 3RankedThe earliest stamp is first. Ties are split.
Nobody had it yet: rank 1.
- 4Paid and deliveredPoints go on the ledger. Subscribers get it once.
7 points, and this is the copy subscribers get.
03The pool
The pool pays for the earliest shreds
Subscribers fund a pool. 70% of HyperSwarm revenue goes into it, and the rest covers ingest, checking and payouts. Every shred is worth 10 points: 7 to the member who delivered it first, 2 to the second and 1 to the third. At the end of the month the pool is split by points. Move the pool and the shred count, then set your own share.
The month
What a shred is worth, per million
- First (7 points)$40.83
- Second (2 points)$11.67
- Third (1 point)$5.83
You
- The pool$70,000
- Your points2,340M
- You earn, 19.5% of the pool$13,650
Revenue, shred counts and shares are examples, not forecasts or promises. A month’s pool depends on what subscribers pay that month, so what a member earns can go down as well as up. The shred count is the real count of valid shreds, so the pool is always paid out in full.
04Ways in
Two ways to feed the swarm
You do not need a validator to take part. If you run one, a small program sends us the shreds it receives. If you already pay for a shred feed, forward it to the address we give you.
You run
A small program next to your node
You need
- Your node, receiving shreds
- Your key and a payout wallet
- Your nearest ingest address
What to expect
Close to the leader means early, and early means first. Validators are usually the ones who win.
- 1Install the program next to your node.
- 2Give it your key, your wallet and the ingest address.
- 3It sends each shred your node receives, and nothing else.
# swarm-agent.yamlsource: kind: validator # read the shreds your node receives listen: 127.0.0.1:8002
swarm: ingest: YOUR_SWARM_INGEST:9000 api_key: YOUR_API_KEY
payout: wallet: YOUR_WALLET# forward the feed you receive to your own ingest addresssocat -u UDP-RECV:20000 UDP-DATAGRAM:YOUR_SWARM_INGEST:9000Both samples are illustrative, and the ingest address is a placeholder: the real one is the one we give you. Only forward a feed whose terms let you. That is for you to check, and we cannot check it for you.
05Fairness
Rules that keep it fair
Nobody should win by being clever with the rules, so there are few of them, and they are the same for everyone.
- 01
Only real shreds count
Each shred’s signature is checked against the leader for that slot. A forged or out-of-date shred is thrown away.
- 02
First means first at our door
Rank is the earliest arrival stamped at our ingest points, on clocks kept in step with each other. Where you connect from is part of how early you are.
- 03
Ties are split
Arrivals inside a very small window are a tie, and they share the points of the places they fill.
- 04
A shred pays once
Sending the same shred twice, from one account or ten, earns nothing extra. A copy of our own stream always arrives behind the original.
- 05
Bad shreds cost you
A few bad shreds are logged. Too many in a month and that month’s points are held until we have looked.
- 06
Every win is checkable
Each win lists its slot, shred, rank and points. We publish the month’s pool, shred count and a hash of the ledger before we pay.
06The ledger
Every win is on your ledger
This is what a member sees: each win with its slot, shred and rank, and the month’s statement worked out from the same numbers as the figure above. Choose a rank, or open a win to see how it was judged.
| Slot | Shred | Rank | Points | Detail |

07Side by side
Three ways to get shreds, side by side
None of them is wrong. They suit different needs, so here is what each one gives you and asks of you. The first two describe a kind of service, not any one product.

08Who it is for
Who feeds it, and who drinks from it
Two sides to one stream. Subscribers want the earliest shreds. Members have shreds to give, and get paid when theirs are early.
- Subscribe
Trading and sniping bots
Act on a shred as soon as any member in the network has it, not only the ones that reach one machine.
- Subscribe
Market makers and searchers
One stream with the earliest copy of each shred, instead of several feeds to merge and keep alive.
- Subscribe
Indexers and analytics
A second source that fills the gaps in the first, with the ledger to show which member delivered what.
- Contribute
Validator operators
Turn the shreds your validator already receives into income, with a small program and nothing else to run.
- Contribute
RPC operators
Your nodes see shreds all day. Send them on and be paid when yours are early.
- Contribute
Anyone already paying for shreds
Forward the feed you receive, if its terms let you, and earn the second and third places when you cannot win first.

HyperSwarm: questions
Not here? Email [email protected] or talk to sales.
What is HyperSwarm?
HyperSwarm is a Solana shred service from NoLimitNodes, coming soon, that is fed by a network of members instead of one source. Members send shreds to our ingest points, subscribers get the earliest copy of each shred, and the first three members to deliver each shred are paid from a pool that subscribers fund.
How are members paid?
Every shred is worth 10 points: 7 for the first member to deliver it, 2 for the second and 1 for the third. At the end of the month 70% of HyperSwarm revenue is the pool, and each member gets the pool times their points divided by all the points. It is paid monthly in USDC.
Why not give everything to the first member?
Winner-takes-all would let one very well-placed machine take almost everything, and everyone else would leave. Paying second and third keeps many members sending, which is what makes the stream reliable, and it makes forwarding a feed you already pay for worth doing.
Do I need a validator to take part?
No. A validator or RPC node can send what it receives with a small program. If you already pay for a shred feed, you can forward it to your own ingest address instead, as long as that feed’s terms allow it.
Can I forward a feed I already pay for?
If its terms let you, yes. Some providers do not allow shreds to be passed on, and that is for you to check before you forward anything, because we cannot check it for you.
What stops fake or repeated shreds?
Every shred’s signature is checked against the leader for its slot, so a forged shred is thrown away. A shred pays once, whoever sends it and however many times, and a copy of our own stream always arrives behind the original. Too many bad shreds in a month hold that month’s points.
What happens in a tie?
Arrivals inside a very small window are a tie. The tied members share the points of the places they fill, so two members tied for first each get 4.5 points.
Is the pay guaranteed?
No. The pool is made of what subscribers pay that month, so what a member earns depends on it, and on how early their shreds are. The page shows examples, not forecasts.
How can I check what I was paid?
Each win is on your ledger with its slot, shred, rank and points. Before each payout we publish the month’s pool, the count of valid shreds and a hash of the ledger, so the split can be worked out again from your own numbers.
What does it cost to subscribe?
We have not set a price to publish here. Email [email protected] and we will tell you when it opens and what it costs.
When can I get it?
HyperSwarm is coming soon. We have not set a date to publish here. Email [email protected] and we will tell you when it opens.
