Configure Shredstream in the Dashboard

Register, replace, and remove your account-wide Shredstream UDP destination.

Before you start

You need one of: an active Ultra, Max or Enterprise plan paid by card, at least one purchased destination ($100 a month each, available on any plan), or a destination granted to you by NoLimitNodes. Prepare:

  • A public IPv4 address that you control
  • A UDP port from 1024 through 65535
  • A receiver listening on that port
  • A firewall and network route that allow inbound UDP

Private, loopback, link-local, multicast, reserved, broadcast, hostname, IPv6, malformed, and out-of-range targets are rejected.

Register the destination

  1. Open Dashboard → Projects → your project → an active node.
  2. Find Shredstream delivery in the node details.
  3. Enter the receiver IPv4 address and the UDP port.
  4. If your account has both Shreds and HyperShreds slots free, choose which one to add.
  5. Select Add destination.
  6. Read the SHREDCAST-VERIFY <id> <token> packet from that UDP socket.
  7. Paste the token, or the whole packet, into the verification field and select Verify destination.

Delivery remains pending until the verification succeeds. No staff approval is required.

Add more destinations

The panel shows how many destinations your account may run and how many slots are free, for Shreds and HyperShreds separately. When every slot is taken, buy extra Shredstream destinations from the same panel: pick how many to add, confirm the charge on your saved card, and the new slots appear.

Each unit is $100 a month, billed on its own subscription and prorated when you add units mid-cycle. HyperShreds destinations are $250 a month and are arranged through support.

Replace a destination

Stop the destination you no longer want, then add the replacement. The new destination remains pending until you verify its UDP packet.

Stop delivery

Select Stop on a destination and confirm. Delivery to that address stops and the slot is free again.

Paused destinations

The delivery gateway checks every account continuously. If an account is disabled, or its allowance falls below the number of destinations it runs (for example after a downgrade, or when an add-on is cancelled), the newest destinations beyond the allowance are paused. They resume on their own when the allowance returns. A pause placed by the gateway cannot be resumed from the dashboard; stop a destination to bring the account back within its allowance.

Scheduling a plan cancellation keeps its destinations available through the paid period.
