# Configure Shredstream in the Dashboard

> Register, replace, and remove your account-wide Shredstream UDP destination.

## Before you start

You need an Ultra trial, paid Ultra plan, or eligible Enterprise account. Prepare:

- A public IPv4 address
- A UDP port from `1` through `65535`
- A receiver listening on that port
- A firewall and network route that allow inbound UDP

Private, loopback, multicast, reserved, broadcast, hostname, IPv6, malformed, and out-of-range targets are rejected.

## Register the destination

1. Open **Dashboard → Shredstream**.
2. Enter the public IPv4 address.
3. Enter the UDP port.
4. Select **Start delivery**.

Provisioning begins immediately. No staff approval is required.

## Read the status

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `not_configured` | No destination exists |
| `provisioning` | The gateway is applying the destination |
| `active` | The destination is active |
| `error` | Provisioning failed. Review the displayed error and retry |

## Replace a destination

Enter the replacement IP and port, then save. The gateway atomically replaces the previous destination.

## Stop delivery

Select **Stop delivery** and confirm. NoLimitNodes removes the destination from the delivery gateway.

Downgrading, canceling, or ending an unconverted Ultra trial also removes the destination.
